VIPEC V88 Engine Management System

 The Vipec V88 Standalone is our most advanced model.  This model is comparable to systems such as MoTec which is double the cost!  Since the PRI show we have been overwhelmed with orders.

Features "setup mode" to suit any engine, whether classic or 21st century!  This system allows the user to design their own control functions in order to optimize devices for different conditions.  Precision control of injection and ignition angle are guaranteed from low (crank) to high RPM, manifold pressure and temperature. 

High level protection from interference is built into these units to ensure smooth operation.

Variable indpendent cam control (precise, measurable, and repeatable!) for up to 4 camshafts with individual feedback.  Response time is less than 1 second.  Hours of setup time is saved by menu selection of VVT-i, VANOS and other popular engines that are pre-configured for the user.

Closed loop idle speed and boost control makes for factory idle quality and precise boost.  Boost control can be set up to provide different boost in each gear by relevant temperature. 

Dual knock control is user definable with flexible settings for maximum performance optimization.

Electronic throttle control with error detection.

Peak and hold injector drivers are 10 amps per drive, zero heat.  Setup screen allows both peak and hold amps be set seperately in the software for optimum injector control.  

Controls up to 4 variable cams and support for engines up to 12 cylinders.  INCLUDES software which allows the user to design their own functions and control many different devices.

Features antilag, flat shift, launch control, and traction control at low speeds.

Boost control can be set up to provide different boost in each gear or shift between boost tables.
